Meadow-like Perennials Flanked by Evergreens for All-Season Structure

This meadow-inspired parking strip planting was wonderful. Its overall disposition is loose, casual, and romantic! The flowers provide a feast for the eyes and the pollinators. Not evident in the photo above, it is anchored by tough evergreens—Arctostaphylos 'Sunset' and olive trees flank it on both sides. This wonderful front yard garden was observed from the street in Portland, OR USDA Zone 8b.
