Sequoia sempervirens 'Henderson Blue'

Henderson Blue Dwarf Sequoia

Evergreen Conifer

Finely textured blue foliage of dwarf conifer Sequoia sempervirens 'Henderson Blue' is great way to add all-season structure to mixed beds. Do watch for strong upward growth as this is its attempt to put up a central leader, and prune it out before it gets out of hand. This is a sun loving conifer, but I've found it pretty tolerant of some shade and willing to grow in a crowded mixed border in my Pacific Northwest garden.
