Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Marjory Channon'

Variegated Tawhiwhi, Marjorie Channon Kohuhu

P. t. 'Marjorie Channon'

Evergreen Shrub

This beautiful evergreen shrub from New Zealand is slow growing to 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide with a dense and compact growth habit. Great plant to use in a mixed hedge for privacy screening. Light greenish-gray foliage is edged in white—from a distance the shrub looks white. In early summer tiny, blackish-red flowers provide fragrance. Grow in full sun to part shade with regular summer water until established. In colder regions, grow in this borderline hardy shrub in a container so that you can move it to a protected spot during cold weather.
